This complete Torque Converter Kit is designed for standard 25.4mm (1”) drive shafts, making it perfect for various applications including those up to 11HP engines like the GX270. It features a 5/8” bore driven pulley with a 6” diameter and a drive belt with a 3/4″ top width, ensuring reliable performance. The kit includes an aluminium mounting back plate, a plastic cover for protection, and provides the option to choose between a 10 tooth sprocket suitable for a 420 chain or a 12 tooth sprocket for a 35 chain. With a drive clutch engagement of 2200 RPM, the torque converter offers an initial gear ratio reduction of approximately 2.7:1 upon take-off, transitioning to an overdriven state of approximately 0.90:1 at full speed. This allows the use of taller gearing on the rear without sacrificing acceleration.
